I worked for a small CPA firm while attending college at Oakland University.  After graduation, I gained additional experience in different areas of accounting by working for various other firms.

Today, I am a seasoned accountant, tax advisor, business consultant, benefits counselor and Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor providing services to clients on many levels, each as important as the other.

I provide QuickBooks software installation, 3rd party software integration, training, troubleshooting, and complete accounting system design, execution and maintenance.

In addition, preparation of payroll tax reports, corporate, partnership and individual tax returns are offered year round. As a tax advisor, my tax planning services, and IRS and State representation bring an added level of value and assurance to my clients.

As a benefits counselor, I work with businesses and individuals educating about voluntary benefits, how they work and how to put them in place. These benefits help families financially prepare for medical crises, and can provide the means to help meet many of their financial obligations during these times.

Over my years in practice I have also encountered a variety of unique opportunities.  In the area of human resources I have reviewed, implemented and maintained employee benefits in the areas of health insurance and retirement plans. This included employee registration through government required reporting.  I have also performed forensic accounting work to uncover embezzlement in divorce and employee cases.

On a daily basis, I interact with with individuals from a variety of business levels; from staff members to executives, and government agencies.

I'm no boring bean counter by any stretch.  I love time outdoors playing soccer and golf, coaching my kids soccer teams, skiing, sledding and most things active that revolve around community, family and fun.
